Welcome to another wonderful blog hop hosted by some fabulous Canadian teachers! Teachers from coast to coast have have gotten together to share with you how we spend Valentine’s Day in our classes… and to share some cute ideas that you can use to make Valentine’s Day extra special for your students!
Valentine’s Day at Joliette Elementary tends to revolve around a lot of red and pink – and in my class, a whole lot of Tim Horton donuts! Make sure to check back at the big day to see all the pictures of the “love”liest day of the year!
For this blog post, I have 2 great things to share with you! The first is a fab freebie that is a quick and easy way for you busy teachers to give out a cute little Valentine to each of your students. Click here to take you to the link and grab these cuties for yourself!
The next thing I am about to show you is something I cannot wait to use with my students! The inspiration for this new product came from a freebie I made for Christmas. I was stunned to see that I had over 2000 downloads in 1 month that I knew I had an idea that was both engaging and fun. So, I am very pleased to introduce you to Valentine Silliness – a great way to practice multiplication facts during February!
The entire package focuses on multiplication literacy from x 1 – x 9. The first nine pages of the booklet touch on each multiple – and the remaining 7 pages have random multiplication facts to help with fluency. Each page has a cute mystery Valentine message for your students to decode. They will love it! Check it out here.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a peek! Make sure to click on the other wonderful Canadian teachers who are blogging about their Valentine’s Day products as well! I am sure you will find other goodies to make your February a breeze!!
Have a great day!
