Happy New Year everyone! I am so glad that you are here and come back time after time to read what I have to say and give your honest opinions and feedback. It really does mean the world to me.
One of my favourite quotes about the beginning of a New Year is posted up above and it speaks volumes to my mommy, wife, and teacher heart. My last years resolution was to be more positive – a challenge I gladly accepted and tried to put into practice each day of 2017. The quote up above is my mantra for this year — I aim to find the potential in myself and those around me… and exploit it to it’s fullest!
A new year also gives me a chance to look back and appreciate all the wonderful moments that have happened throughout the past 365 days. Here on the blog, a lot of wonderful collaboration and dialogue was initiated through some of my posts and I have decided to dedicate the first post of the new year to the top 3 blog posts of 2017. I hope you will have as much fun re-reading them (or reading them for the first time!!!) as much as I had writing them for you. Make sure to click on each picture to be taken to the original post.

I wrote this one from my heart – mostly because of my experience as a mom with “that” child and as a teacher. All moms need to hear these things from their children’s teachers — just as much as I needed them to hear it from me.

It makes my heart smile that this little idea of mine has been helping teachers all over the world work on putting the fun back into their fluency practice!
It has been such a wonderful year of blogging and these are the top three posts that resonated with my readers the most over the year. Thank you to all who stop by to provide me with encouragement, challenge me to think from a different perspective, and encourage me to share my ideas with you week after week. I look forward to continuing throughout the new year.
So, for all of you wonderful readers and contributors, here is my New Year’s wish for you…
Have a great day!
